Wild Boys Afloat owner Joe Elias buys Gladesville waterfront

Joe Elias, owner of the Wild Boys Afloat strip joint, has bought on the Gladesville waterfront paying a record $7 million plus.

Elias, who currently resides in the Putney home bought with wife Rosie around 10 years ago for $1.5 million, paid $7,095,000 result.

The 1200 sqm deep waterfront mansion with a private jetty and pontoon had nine registered parties.

The three-storey property was listed with a guide of $6.5 million to $7 million through McGrath agent John Paranchi.

Paul Kearney, who heads up the animal health products group Autopak-Vetlab, bought its 20 years ago for $1,365,000.

The previous suburb high was set next door at $6.1 million in 2008 when it was bought by Chinese herbal medicine practitioner Qi Xin Chen.
