The new chief of Bauer Media in Australia, Nick Chan and wife Peggy have listed their Roseville family home after 16 years ownership.

Chan was made CEO earlier this week following his departure as chief operating officer from Seven West Media last year.

The couple paid $1.7 million for the 1930s Clanville Road residence in 1999, when he was in the Packer media camp.

Set on a 2083 sqm parcel, the four bedroom home also features a wine cellar, full sized tennis court and an in-ground pool.

The property is listed through Philip Waller of McGrath Linfield who has a price guide of between $5 million and $5.5 million for its May 7 auction.

Chan is also the chairman of online wagering business TopBetta.

Chan looks to be betting that oversea buying interest is still hot in Roseville.

The house price record was set late last year when a six bedroom mansion on 4000 sqm sold for $6.75 million to the Tan family.

This narrowly bettered the $6.63 million record set in May last year for a five bedder with tennis court and swimming pool sold on Shirley Road that sold to the Mak family.

The median house price in Roseville $2.25 million, according to CoreLogic RP Data.

Chan replaced Darren Goodchild who returned to Bauer in the UK in October.
