The private investor David Kingston has his Whitsundays island listed with $20 million hopes.

Long Island Resort was originally developed by Contiki.

Kingston, a former managing director of investment bank Rothschilds, has owned it for the past two decades.

The island will be offered for sale with the Club Crocodile Airlie Beach Resort which could bring up to $9 million through Wayne Bunz and Hayley Manvell of CBRE Hotels to market the properties with Christie Leet of PRD Nationwide Airlie Beach.

The 8-hectare property has opportunities for expansion.
