A riverfront home on the Brisbane Corso has been sold for $5.5 million.

Spanning three levels on a 1050 sqm block, the home is filled with oversized windows and glass doors which are met by numerous balconies with a river back drop.

The home features a sound proof home theatre, complete with projector and bar area.

The theatre flows out on to an alfresco entertaining deck which overlooks the in-ground pool and own private pontoon.

The five bedroom house previously traded for $661,000 in 2000.

The home also includes a home office, climate controlled cellar, billiard room, workshop and a gym.

Jane Elvin of LJ Hooker Annerly/Yeronga was the selling agent of 419 Brisbane Corso.
