Armadale home sells at $600,000 more than guidance

The managing director of Growthpoint Properties Australia, Tim Collyer, and artist Kylie Thomas secured $3.11 million when they sold their Armadale home.
Their 1900 Victorian home at 27 Union Street, refurbished in 2008, sold through Jellis Craig agent Lachie Fraser-Smith.
Collyer and Thomas were expecting about $2.4 million for the five bedrooms house with a formal front sitting room, large study, open plan living, outdoor deck and upstairs retreat.
It had been tightly held since 1998 when it fetched $427,500.
