Wallabies fly-half Berrick Barnes has secured a $847,000 sale of his unused Indooroopilly home.

Advertised as ripe for renovation by Urban Property Agents - Paddington selling agent Ben Wakely, the home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The home had been rented for around $500 per week for the last few years.

Set on 607 sqm, Barnes paid $675,000 for the home in 2008 which has maintained its traditional features including soaring ornate ceilings, casement windows and picture rails.

The downstairs bedroom offers the opportunity for dual living with a separate entry, kitchenette and bathroom.
