Hobart art collector and professional gambler David Walsh has been confirmed as the buyer of Moelis merchant Banker Andrew Martin's Darling Point home.

The property sold under the hammer for $7.5 million through McGrath's Ben Collier. No sign yet what Walsh intends to do with his Horizon, Darlinghurst penthouse.
