House prices fall in WA's Port Hedland, Derby and Karratha: JLL

House prices have fallen considerably in Port Hedland, Derby and Karratha over the past year, according to JLL's Residential Market Review for February.

The report said Port Hedland, once a rival to Sydney for prices; has seen the median house price fall by -29.0% over the past year to $576,000 and is expected to fall further.

"Prices in Derby have fallen -29.3% to $290,000. Prices in Karratha have fallen -21.7% to $428,000," it said.

"Broome, not affected by mining, has nevertheless seen house prices fall -10.6% to $539,000."
