50% of prospective buyers look at your personal photos: REA Group

Jennifer DukeJanuary 27, 2014

According to realestate.com.au, half of prospective buyers trawling through your open home will have a look at your personal photographs.

This is one of a number of 'Home Truths' being discussed in a new campaign of the same name.

Another finding is that Australians would rather live 50 kilometres or further from their in-laws.

While Property Observer staff wouldn't admit to the second, despite all admitting to the first, it will be interesting to see what else is revealed in the new campaign.

"In a country obsessed and fascinated by property, 'Home Truths’ provides insight into the quirky property attitudes of the nation," said REA Group's marketing operations manager, Ed McManus.

More quirky property truths will be shared through the week based on research conducted by market research hub NewsPoll.
