The two storey, six bedroom property was listed by a family from China. Title Tattle gleans it was sold to the Fei family from Keysborough.
According to CoreLogic RP Data, the outer Yarra Ranges, Melbourne suburb's median house price is $550,000.
The prior record was $2.99 million in 2014 for a single storey home on a large 15 hectare lot.
