The Melbourne model Megan Gale pulled her Palm Beach getaway from recent scheduled auction, unable to find any $3.5 million plus buyers in the somewhat over-saturated northern beaches market.

Gale has owned the two level Ralston Road property since late 2006, buying it for $3.2 million in her mother May’s name.

There are 50 Palm Beach houses advertised on realestate.com.au.

Her five bedroom, five bathroom home was purchased after she returned from her seven-year modelling stint in Italy.

Offered with approval for an extension, its has been renovated over recent years.

Set in the shadow of the watertower, it has views to the Barrenjoey Lighthouse.

It was listed through Century 21 Avalon agent Stephanie Hammond with expectations of more than $3.5 million.

Any sale with see Gale empty her Sydney property portflio as Gale’s Tamarama property was sold in 2012 for $3 million, and her former Bondi Beach home sold in 2007 for $1,025,000.
