There are $6 million plus expectations for a five bedroom, five bathroom Killara mansion.

The estate is owned by Baring Asset Management chief investment officer Ken Lambden and his wife Karen who are London-based.

The couple bought the property in 2007 for $6.35 million.

The property goes to auction on November 28.

It includes grand formal rooms, a media room and an upstairs guest or staff quarters.

The estate features 2395 sqm of level lawns and landscaped gardens, a Koi carp pond, championship sized tennis court and a gas heated pool and spa.

The outside also includes sheltered stone-flagged terraces, automated entry gates and two double garages.
