Why less is more at BVN office space for Sydney Open

Why less is more at BVN office space for Sydney Open

Inside the Hilton Hotel complex at 255 Pitt Street is a surprising transformation of a typical 70s commercial office interior that has no ceiling, no carpet and no offices.

This space was redesigned by BVN as their own workspace and while the design removed much of the interiors, they did install an internal timber veranda that has a kitchen and a full-length window seat with cushions overlooking Pitt Street.

The public are welcome to visit during Sydney Open on November 1 when tours will be running throughout the day explaining why less is more.

One of the highlights would be model makers working live on models of new buildings recently designed by BVN. Along with the physical model-making there will be an opportunity to engage with a virtual model and visitors will be allowed to use the controller to navigate through buildings on the big screen.
