Fresh listings nationally increase 4.9%: CoreLogic RP Data

The level of fresh listings nationally has increased 4.9% when compared to the same period one year ago, with homes in capital cities increasing 8.9% compared to this time last year, according to CoreLogic RP Data's latest Property Pulse.

According to the report some 233,119 properties were added to the listings pool over the past month, with the largest increase in listings numbers for the four weeks ending August 30 in Sydney (16.4%), Melbourne (9.7%) and Canberra (17.7%).

Sydney's total stock levels are -0.5% lower than a year ago, with Melbourne listings down 4.7% lower than a year ago.
