The comedic radio broadcaster Hamish Blake sold his Fitzroy terrace on the eve of today's August 29 scheduled auction.

The Gore Street home was bought in 2012 for $1,265,000 with its extensive renovations including the striking red and blue facade.

Hamish Blake and wife Zoe Foster Blake were expecting $1.55 million plus for the three-bedroom, two-bathroom house. No sale price has been revealed in the REIV results, with the agency upping their price guidance to $1.6 million plus during the marketing campaign.
