Peter and Doris Weiss list Wollumbi in the NSW Southern Highlands
Fashionista Peter Weiss hopes to secure $15 million for his Wollumbi estate in the NSW Southern Highlands.
It comes complete with cattle paddocks, vineyards and olive groves on the 1500 acres (600 hectares) on Uringalla Creek.
Weiss, who turns 80 later this year, and his wife Doris, have built up their cattle stock of initially the Black Angus breed, but then Red Angus.
The herd stands at 450, and Weiss operates an IVF program to further develop the stock.
Wollumbi produces up to 6000 bottles of pinot gris and 3000 bottles of pinot noir in a good season, and he recently told the Australian Financial Review sparkling wine is coming.
The $15 million hopes would match the Southern Highlands pastoral record set in 2007 when Reg Grundy bought Comfort Hill along the highway at Sutton Forest from Michael Ball.
The couple are set to split their time between their Woollahra terrace and a Palm Beach weekender.
