Perhaps not the best time to list any soaking wet Queensland beach shack last weekend.

The Palm Beach, Queensland home of Townsville-bound country singer Adam Brand has been listed for 10 March auction.

The 1970s 36 First Avenue home was bought by Brand in November 2012 for $400,000 and then renovated.

"All just a few hundred metres from those glistening sandy beaches," the marketing advise.

Brand, who also owns two Queensland restaurants, was dubbed a "jet setting singer/ song writer with plenty more plans on the horizon", according to the Ray White marketing by agent Tom Collingwood.
