32 Ian Avenue, North Curl Curl, an architecturally designed, split-level house with ocean views, has been sold for $4,125,000.

Set on a 907 square metre ocean-front position, the home comes with giant walls of retractable glass to capture the views.

Raine & Horne Dee Why Collaroy secured the late 2014 sale for the Johnson family who had been trying to sell since listing it in early 2012 with $5.95 million hopes.

It was marketed as "embracing the ambience of an exclusive beach resort".

The architectural concept was by Co-AP architects with sweeping ocean side decks, 12 metre solar-heated infinity pool, and cliff-side cabana and cubby house in its cul-de-sac setting.

The home has been featured in The Australian Financial Review's Dream Home and the Sydney Morning Herald's You Wish sections over the years.

The land traded at $2.1 million in 2005.
