The president of the Hawthorn Football Club Andrew Newbold and his wife, Sarah, have listed their Kew home with $9 million expectations through Kay & Burton.

The 9-11 Edward Street offering is a 2,700 square metre block with an Edwardian-style residence with north-facing rear swimming pool and floodlit N/S Mod-grass tennis court.

Sarah Newbold, an interior designer, oversaw the renovation which followed its $5.5 million purchase in 2008.

The street has had two higher sales since, both in 2012 and both to Chinese buyers.

The couple have older children, so are said to be moving closer to Ms Newbold's family on the other side of town.
