The Whale Beach award-winning Archer House has been relisted with $10 million aspirations.

Architect Craig Rosevear won the 2001 Wilkinson Award after it was commissioned by venture capitalist entrepreneur David Archer and his blogger wife, Vicki.

The London-based couple are best known for their time at Craig-y-mor at Point Piper.

The 251 Whale Beach Road block cost $385,000 in 1986.

The Hobart architect designed the minimalist three-level house which has since featured in the 2004The Phaidon Atlas Of Contemporary World Architecture.

It has two main bedrooms, a guest bedroom and a large bunk room. The upper level of the steel frame and glass house has the kitchen, dining and living rooms.

A floor panel of translucent glass runs the length of the house and separates the kitchen and living areas.

Its waxed concrete floors provide coolness in summer and underfloor heating in winter. The 832 squre metre beachfront property has a pathway through native flora to the sand.

The stunning four-bedroom residence has been listed through LJ Hooker Palm Beach's David Edwards who is taking offers until 27 November.

Title Tattle recalls in 2009 the Belgravia, London based couple - who maintain a holiday home at Saint-Remy de Provence in France - were seeking offers of more than $10 million.
