Australian Idol 2006 winner Damien Leith and his wife Eileen Stapleton have listed their inner west 1920s Petersham house.

The four bedroom house cost $940,000 in 2011.

Title Tattle gleans more than $1.2 million is tipped for the musician with great private property success since he hit the headlines.

It has been listed for November 1 McGrath auction. The couple will be trading up to something larger.

The home has 133 square metre of space on its 278 square metre block.

In 2009 they spent $675,000 on a Marrickville house which was sold for $935,000 in 2010.

Title Tattle recalls the couple had quit their Stanmore apartment for a larger rented home in 2007 as they were expecting a second child.

Their two-bedroom Stanmore unit, which cost $291,000 in 2005, was for rent at $360 a week in 2009, and sold in 2011 for $481,000.
