Summerland Point Genevieve Lilley designed home for sale
The Point, the tightly held property on Lake Macquarie at Summerland Point, has been listed for sale for the first time since the 1980s.
It comes with a two year old home designed by architect Genevieve Lilley on the 2276 square metre north facing block with 150 metres of water frontage.
Lilley purposefully sought to create a modest building among the trees on a slither of land beside the lake, almost invisible from the water.
The large boatshed with slip-way comes with a kitchenette, bathroom and bedroom.
The property is 35 minutes to Newcastle and an hour to Wahroonga.
It has been listed through Gavin Schwebel at The Property Market Central Coast. Over $1.5 million is being tipped, with the development approval for a larger house perhaps the significant unknown potential.
His most recent nearby sale was when $2.82 million was paid for one of the much bigger homes on the point, a 3000 square metre west facing property with five bedroom, two story contemporary house.
