The mansion at 56 Albany Road, Toorak has been relisted for sale through Kay & Burton.

The 1,245 square metre holding, on the Myoora Road corner, is being marketed as suitable for a new home or an apartment development.

Its vendor is Andrew Cannon, the Australian Honorary Consul of Monaco following the death of the late dentistry pioneer, fighter pilot and sportsman, Bob Cannon.

The Cannon family have hosted many famous friends at the home over the five decades including Hollywood actor Kirk Douglas and tennis champion Ivan Lendl.

Expressions of interest through agents Michael Gibson and Andrew Smith close 10 September.

Last October there were $5.6 million hopes.
