The Colliers International male staff in Melbourne have got behind the Polished Man campaign which clients will notice when they sign any contracts.

The fundraising initiative is a two week campaign run by YGAP, which challenges men to end violence against children and raise awareness.

Collier team members have painted one nail blue, representing the estimated one in five children who experience violence globally before the age of 18.

Colliers female staff are painting one nail in solidarity and encouraging the men in their lives to participate.

According to YGAP, approximately 90% of all sexual violence committed against children is by perpetrated by men.

The majority of this violence happens behind closed doors and is committed by people known to the child.

YGAP believes all men have a role to play in ensuring children feel safe and can reach their full potential.

Supporters have included Carlton footballer Chris Judd and Essendon footballer Jobe Watson who had a fingernail painted at their drawn weekend AFL MCG game.
