Kristine Lempriere, the Melbourne designer owner of Townmouse Children's Wear, has listed the Malvern home she shares with her husband Will, three boys Max, Tom and Henri, and baby girl, Adelaide.

It is a brick 1880s Victorian period residence with tessellated verandah, the arched entrance hall, glorious sitting room with bay window, refined study and gracious formal dining.

The main bedroom, with designer en suite and built in robes is complemented by a separate wing accommodating three children. It has been their home since they paid $992,000 in 2002.

The 556 square metre holding at 52 McKinley Avenue has been listed through Fiona Ansell-Jones and Andrew Hayne at Marshall White for 20 September auction.

Around $2.25 million is tipped.

After Kristine studied fashion at RMIT, Townmouse was launched in 2002.

Last March the couple bought their new house, with Kristine blogging she was relieved that they won't have to house hunt for at least another 20 years.
