James and Tanya Hird's Toorak investment mansion under offer

Swinford, the renovated Toorak investment property of Tanya Hird, the wife of returning Essendon coach James Hird, is now "under offer".

It was renovated after being bought for $2.76 million in early 2011.

Set on 837 square metres close to Kooyong Village, it was speculated it came with $4.75 million plus hopes.

The five-bedroom property at 7 Toorak Avenue has been for private sale through agents Ross Savas and Michael Armstrong at Kay & Burton since February this year.

Tania and James Hird reside at another, much photographed, Toorak property bought in 1998 for $2.4 million.
