Chanel Australia and New Zealand's national retail manager, Kathleen Bennett, and her extradition lawyer husband Stephen Parkes, secured around $1.9 million for their Chatswood trophy home, Chalambar.

The five-bedroom home on 784 square metres comes with wraparound verandah overlooking a pool.

The bungalow traded at $1.4 million in 2011 by the downsizing couple.

Chalambar was snapped up prior to its scheduled 2 August auction.

There were initial $1.7 million plus hopes through McGrath Chatswood's Olivia Chung.
