The Canberra Airport owner Terry Snow didn't find a buyer when his Harry Seidler-designed Rose Bay penthouse went to auction last month.

The entire 305 square metre upper level space comes with a price guide of $7 million plus.

The Canberra-based businessman paid $5.6 million in 2008 for the top floor apartment which has views of the harbour, bridge and CBD.

It is a duplex on Ian Street. The home was designed by Seidler in the early 1980s.

The three bedroom apartment has lift access and a vast north west facing terrace.

The property is listed with Michael Dunn and Phoebe Shepperd of Richardson & Wrench Double Bay.
