The semi-retired rugby league legend Brad Fittler and his partner Marie Liarris have sold their Rose Bay investment semi.

The McGrath selling James Dack hasn't revealed the price, but Title Tattle gleans around $1.925 million as having sealed the bullish sale.

The television commentator paid $1.67 million last year for Salisbury Cottage, and after sprucing it up, secured a 14% gain.

The four bedroom, three bathroom semi with two car spaces had reputed $1.7 million expectations for its 17 May McGrath auction.

The Channel 9 commentator bought the 1920s Salisbury Road semi in May 2013 through Annette Pollak at Ray White Double Bay when offered to the market for the first time in more than 20 years.

Reflecting 4% yield, it was leased after becoming available with an initial weekly $1300 asking rent through Andrew Anastassiou at Home Estate Agents Bronte.

It sits on a 304 square metre holding.
