The replica medieval castle - a three-bedroom property - at 4 Dowling Street, Leumeah, NSW has now gone under contract after reducing the asking price.

Listed for sale for the first time in its 30-year history, it had inital $600,000 plus hopes last year.

But recently relisted with $500,000 plus hopes through new listing agents. Property Observer can confirm that it is currently under contract.

Inside, the house contains three large bedrooms, two bathrooms, sunken spa bath, lounge with open brick fireplace, and separate dining room with French doors, but what makes this property so unique is what’s outside the doors.

With 10 turrets, gargoyles, stained glass windows, medieval furnishings and even a moat, this property has become something of a local landmark. There's even a UK style post box out front.

It has been host to several themed weddings and busloads of tourists often stop at its gates to take pictures.
