Nelson Mandela's home has crowds gather for farewell
Nelson Mandela has recently passed away, in his South Africa Johannesburg, Houghton home, aged 95. The crowds are forming around his residence in tribute to say goodbye on the corner of 12th Avenue and 4th Street, surrounded with a high stone wall.

The Tenant's Union of NSW' The Brown Couch blog also pays tribute to Mandela's contribution. The right to housing, as outlined in the South Africa Constitution, is one of the highlights.
26. HousingEveryone has the right to have access to adequate housing.
The state must take reasonable legislative and other measures, within its available resources, to achieve the progressive realisation of this right.
No one may be evicted from their home, or have their home demolished, without an order of court made after considering all the relevant circumstances. No legislation may permit arbitrary evictions.
Property Observer's thoughts are with Mandela's loved ones at this time.
