A full brick federation home ripe with renovation potential is on the market in Willoughby for the first time in over 50 years, with a $1.7 million price guide.

Located on Holland Street, Lalanamu was one of the first homes to be built on the street in 1904.

The four-bedroom home has only had two owners in its time; its most recent – Cecily Tilley – purchased the home in 1961 and raised six children there.

Situated on 682 square metres, the home features the original kitchen and bathroom and high corniced ceilings with central roses.

Holland Street has been home to some infamous Australia icons, including radio and television host Geraldine Doogue and Nicholas Farr-Jones, former Australian rugby player.

Lalanamu will go under the hammer on November 30 through Di Burcham of Forsyth Real Estate.
