“ This is an incredible opportunity in that it appeals to a number of different markets – retirees or downsizers can build the home of their dreams with spectacular views for a lot less than they expect, while similarly builders or boutique developers can acquire one of the land parcels and further subdivide to deliver a boutique residential precinct with multiple dwellings,” says Riviera Properties managing director Tim Weight.

Eight of the blocks provide buyers with the opportunity to apply for multiple titles and to further subdivide.

The lots range in price from $210,000 to $600,000.

“Buyers could build townhouses with shared driveways on the blocks, and given the way we have designed the sloping blocks there is an opportunity to fit additional dwellings on a lot which can each achieve spectacular water views.

“The Headlands could also appeal to those who wish to create their own nest egg for the future by investing in the development of in a boutique waterview property project, the possibilities really are endless.

“The Gippsland Lakes’ affordability is what really stands out for savvy investors and purchasers; you can either jump on the chance to invest in an affordable property venture in an area that’s really starting to blossom, or buy and build the house of your dreams,” says Weight.

The median house price in Metung is $330,000, a 36.1% change in the past five years, according to RP Data.
