Motus Property’s Regatta Apartments in the Rivervale urban renewal project The Springs is proving to be popular with some 40% of apartments snapped up.

The boutique development of only 22 apartments comprises of a range of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments across five levels.

Remaining two-bedroom apartments are priced from $540,000 to $580,000 and range in size from 73 square metres to 86 square metres internally.

“Regatta will really focus on lifestyle, with large internal living areas, a special area for storing canoes and kayaks and also a bicycle repair and maintenance space,” says Motus director Peter Jodrell.

“A glass faced lift will let residents always feel connected to their surroundings.

“We have also designed it to the adaptable housing guidelines with very few steps, wide doors and large rooms so that as residents age or if they become immobilized, the spaces can still accommodate them,” says Jodrell.

Apartments will feature Travertine tiling in the bathroom, Miele kitchen appliances and high ceilings.

Regatta Apartments are located within Landcorp’s The Springs, a large tract of riverfront land at the junction of the Great Eastern Highway and the Graham Farmer Freeway.

The Springs will provide a range of medium to high density residential developments and a mix of commercial sites and tenancies.

“The development is close to parks, the river, public transport and a wide range of shopping and lifestyle options, including the Crown complex as well as the new planned Perth Stadium,” says Knight Frank selling agent Neha Shah.

“Just six kilometres away from the Perth CBD, The Springs will have plenty of public open spaces, created for office workers and residents and it will all be linked to the city by cycle and walking paths,” says Shah.

Regatta Apartments has a scheduled completion date of end of 2014, early 2015.

The median apartment price in Rivervale is $440,000, a 35.4% change in the past five years, according to RP Data.
