A six-bedroom home in Vaucluse with views to the Opera House and Harbour Bridge is this week’s most expensive sale, selling at auction for $8.75 million, according to RP Data.

Located on Wentworth Road, the property features dual street frontage, high ceilings, floor to ceiling glass and marble and granite finishes.

Hosted across three levels, the home features six bathrooms, a sauna and a steam room.

The property was sold through D’Leanne Lewis of Laing & Simmons Double Bay.

The median house price in Vaucluse is $2.78 million, a 13.1% decline in the past five years, according to RP Data.
