Four Melbourne suburbs to become employment hubs

La Trobe University, Parkville, Monash Clayton and Sunshine are all tipped to be included as future employment hotspots in Melbourne’s new 40 year vision paper to be released Wednesday.
The Napthine Government is replacing Labor’s Melbourne 2030 plan in a new strategy which Fairfax says will outline key housing and employment growth areas and transport priorities.
It reports the draft will expand on a vision in the previous paper which creates services, entertainment and jobs within 20 minutes of residential areas.
