This week's most expensive sales: RP Data
A seven-bedroom Hampton-style residence owned by businessman Dino Focas was an interesting case this week, passing in at auction.
Located on Monaco Street in Broadbeach Waters, the property has been visited by stars Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey, who were in Queensland for the filming of Fool’s Gold.
Situated on 2,800 square metres, the property features riverfront terraces, balconies off every bedroom and a media room and library.
The home also boasts a pool, tennis court and pontoon.
Focas bought the property for $6.5 million in 2010 off Louise Morris, who paid $7.35 million in 2005.
The home was sold through Sherry Smith of Ray White Prestige Gold Coast.
The median house price in Broadbeach Waters is $710,000, a 19.1% decline in the past five years, according to RP Data.
