A Waterloo terrace, part of a trio known as Dan’s Terrace, has set a record price for the suburb after selling for $1.3 million.

The three-bedroom, mostly unrenovated property trumped the previous sale record by a just over a quarter of a million.

The trio of terraces have been held by the same family for 50 years, passing through three generations.

Located at 103 Phillips Street, the recently sold terrace is situated on 190 square metres and features high ceilings, character features, original fireplaces and a woodfire stove in the renovated but dated kitchen.

It was listed through Brenton Gadsby of Bradfield Cleary.

The middle of the three will be brought to market soon.

“The second terrace home is slightly better condition, so we are expecting some more competitive offers,” says Gadsby.
