A three-storey architecturally designed property positioned above the Bondi to Bronte coastal walk is on the market for the first time in 58 years.

Listing agent Blaise Griffin of Raine and Horne Double Bay says the property has received genuine interest over $10 million.

Located at 23 Wilga Street, the three-bedroom home (pictured above) includes prominent features of the Sydney School of Architecture style.

The property was custom built in 1963 and includes a main residence, as well as a three-bedroom, two-bathroom self-contained residence on the 707-square-metre lot.

The main residence features bagged and rustic brick walls and cathedral ceilings.

The property includes a private garden with approximately a 30-metre frontage.

“It’s really hard to put a value on a property like this,” says Griffin.

“The only site we can compare it to is 105 Ramsgate Avenue, which sold for $14 million."

“The land does have median density zoning on it, but we believe the buyer for this trophy property will be an owner-occupier,” says Griffin.

The home will go to auction October 19 through Ric Serrao and Blaise Griffin of Raine and Horne Double Bay.

The median house price in Bondi is $1,700,500, a 26% change in the past five years, according to RP Data.
