Woolwich English manor riverfront most expensive sale: RP Data

A 1918 English manor style home in Woolwich was this week’s most expensive sale, selling under the hammer for $5.09 million, according to RP Data.

Located at 14 The Point Road, the four-bedroom home has been held by the same family for nearly 50 years.

The property has been maintained and restored and features domed ceilings, wave stairs and a verandah with views over the bay and river.

Situated on 1,296 square metres, the property includes a boatshed plus 346 square metres of leased waterways.

The waterfront residence was listed for $5 million plus and sold through Harris Partners Real Estate Balmain on August 9.

The highest price recorded in Woolwich was for 1 Angelo Street, which sold in March 2007 for $11.005 million.

The median house price for houses over $750,000 in Woolwich is $3.85 million, according to RP Data.
