One Big Switch hones in on home and contents insurance costs

Having negotiated group discounts for mortgages, electricity and health insurance, consumer campaigners One Big Switch are now considering investigating discounts for those requiring home and contents insurance.
One Big Switch founder Lachlan Harris tweeted today to his 6,868 followers:
In October last year, the consume advocacy group returned to its mortgage roots with a new mortgage awareness campaign targeting lenders who don’t pass on RBA cash rate cuts in full.
It launched a trademarked “Rate Gap calculator’ giving subscribers an indication of how much extra they have been paying to date and on a monthly basis, based on RBA cash rate movements and their lender’s response to them.
