2SM radio broadcaster John Laws’ Edgecliff triplex investment apartment has sold prior to its scheduled auction for apparently just under $3 million.
Property Observer reported on the listing last month, when slightly more than $3 million was tipped.
Buyers had concerns as to the possible impact of a nearby development.
The apartment occupies almost the entire top floor of the Albert Street period triplex and features four bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Offering harbour views, it last traded at $2.03 million in 1998.
The sale was secured through James Keenan of Ray White Double Bay.
