The Hamptons are home to some of the most decadent of Memorial Day weekend celebrations. It's not known if anyone was silly enough to incorporate it within their celebrations.

Property Observer gleans Hampton home-owners there are reportedly worried by the influx of young party-makers driven north by the devastation of Jersey Shore caused by hurricane Sandy.

It was recently revealed that billionaire mayor of New York, Michael Bloomberg bought a house and a vacant block next to his 14-hectare estate Southampton.

And Jennifer Lopez reportedly just spent $10 million on an eight-bedroom custom mansion in Water Mill.

The Twitter account is a satirical exposé of the lifestyle and hubris of America's best-payed bankers.
