A rare Gatsby style of home for Brisbane’s prestigious suburb of Hamilton has been listed.

Number 9 Eblin Drive is a 1920s original that has been restored to its original Gatsby-esque glory.

Refinements include crafted lead light doors and a sweeping staircase with exquisite wrought iron balustrades, elaborate ceilings and chandeliers.

The owners have invested two years restoring the detail in this 913sqm residence.

There five bedrooms and four bathrooms on three levels and additional features include outdoor kitchen, library, study, cinema, cool room and covered parking for five vehicles. Their investment is $3 million plus.

The property last sold in 2007 for $2,200,000 and is marketed by agent Christine Rudolph of Ray White.
