Having paid a suburb record $16 million for the home of former Vocation CEO Mark Hutchinson, surgeon Craig Taylor has sold his redundant Manly home for more than $13 million.

The Tudor-style home on the Fairy Bower dress circle sits on 700 sqm overlooking Shelley Beach.

The four bedroom waterfront reserve home The sale through Rowe Partners agent Jake Rowe sold with approval for a new home from David Selden Design (below).

It had a $12 million to $13 million guide.

Taylor's new home down the road is designed by Marchese and Partners and broke the former Manly record by over $5 million.

Mark Hutchinson and wife Sophie paid $7.25 million when buying from the Grand Prix motorcyclist Wayne Gardner and wife Toni.
