Nova FM host Kent “Smallzy” Small has not let the coronavirus lockdown slow him down, selling and buying property in Sydney while the world stayed behind doors.

Smallzy recently upgraded to a new five-bedroom home in Hunters Hill, paying $3.7 million.

Ever since he listed his Alexandria townhouse at the height of the lockdown, Smallzy had been looking to relocate out of the inner city, with his agent at the time saying “he is looking for something that is more like a family home.”

Before this, the popular night time host of Smallzy’s Surgery — who with Richard Wilkins will lead a live-streamed Thank You Concert starring Ed SheeranKaty Perry and Keith Urban honouring essential services workers on June 20 — sold his two-bedroom investment Waterloo property for $1.57 million, raking in a near-$500,000 profit in the five years he owned it.

Then he sold his Alexandria townhouse for more than $2 million, both through BresicWhitney’s Chris Nunn.

Property Confidential believes Smallzy has already moved into his new home.

The two-storey house in Mark St is brand new and has level lawns, an in-ground pool and outdoor entertainment deck as well as an impressive master suite with a walk-in robe and ensuite bathroom.

“He really liked the idea of buying in Hunters Hill because he said it was good value for money and he liked that it had easy access to the Nova studios (in Pyrmont),” BresicWhitney agent Nicholas McEvoy said.

“He was attracted to the fact it’s a great entertainer, modern, open plan and offers privacy. He viewed it a couple of times and bid for it himself at auction."
