The Palm Avenue residence was the project of property developer Troy Daffy, who owns Silverstone Group, and wife Caroline, who have just upgraded to Windermere, one of the suburb's most historic houses.

In mid-2015 they paid $3.03 million for the vacant 1,265 sqm Palm Avenue block, which had just a few trees on, before taking on the build themselves which took a year to complete.
