The Block 2018 winners sell North Bondi apartment

Winners of The Block 2018 Hayden and Sara Vale have sold their North Bondi home for well above expectations.

The aparmtment went to auction in late February with with $1 million plus hopes and sold for $1.225 million.

It last sold for $975,000 in 2018.

The couple, who took out the top prize refurbishing an apartment at St Kilda’s former Gatwick Hotel, sold the property at 2/62 Blair Street.

Located within walking distance of the beach the unit has been renovated by the couple.

Before the auction Ms Vale told Domain she and Hayden were more nervous about the upcoming auction than the one for The Block 2018.

They have plans to move down the caost to Stanwell park in northern Wollongong and are in the midst of building their "forever home."

It will be a 5-storey affair 500 metres from the beach.
