Carrington House, the Armadale trophy home that dates back nearly 150 years, has hit the market.

The home, built in the late 1860s, has undergone a comprehensive restoration, although has retained a number of its classic period rooms, such as the formal living, drawing and dining rooms, as well as a music room.
