A harbour-side mansion, in Sydney's Clontarf, has sold for $9 million, short of its $10.5 million listing price. 

The house, on Gordon Street, features seven bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a quadruple garage, full-sized billiards room, large pool, and home cinema.

The property comprises of 2240 square metres of private, landscaped grounds. 

Brad Hunt, who is part of the family that founded Primo Smallgoods, and his wife Kylie owned the house for the past nine years.

They bought the house in 2009 for $8.7 million, showing just $300,000 (or 3.5%) in 10 years.

The median house price in Clontarf is $2.92 million.

James Haywood and Anita Wildash, from Cunninghams Real Estate, listed the property.
